About the Project

Karnataka Mithila Sanskritik Parishad (R.) – KMSP – is a registered non-profit society that preserves Mithila culture, traditions and the Maithili language, and connects the Maithil community living in Karnataka. Its flagship event is Mithila Mahotsav, held at Palace Grounds, Bengaluru. The website is the society's public home: it explains who KMSP is, shows upcoming and past events, and invites families to join the community – in both English and Maithili. Rotofy built the site and continues to manage it.

The Challenge

KMSP's members range from young professionals to grandparents, and many prefer to read in Maithili. The society needed a website that felt rooted in Mithila culture, worked in two languages, and made it easy for new families to find events and join the community.

Our Solution

We designed the site around Madhubani art and Mithila colours, with an English and मैथिली language switch in the header. Events are split into Upcoming and Recent Highlights, with photos and details for each. Gallery, Media & Press and Community pages show the society's work, and WhatsApp community links make joining a single tap. The society's registration number is shown in the footer to build trust.
