About the Project

Bihar Mahotsav 2026 was a four-day celebration of Bihar's heritage, culture, cuisine, art, tourism and people, run by the Bihar Mahotsav Organising Committee with regional cultural groups and volunteers. The Art of Living International Center on Kanakapura Road, Bengaluru was the venue partner. The website did two jobs. Before and during the festival it was the visitor guide – the day-by-day programme, venue directions and the WhatsApp group. Now that the festival is over, it stays online as the permanent archive of the event, with the full programme, photo gallery and stories.

The Challenge

A festival website is used most heavily in a few busy days, mostly on phones, often by people standing at the venue. Visitors needed to see what was on today, find their way around a 65-acre campus, and register for courses – and after the festival, the same site had to become a lasting record of the event.

Our Solution

We built a fast, mobile-first site around a day-by-day programme with tabs for each day, times, venues and a downloadable PDF. An "Explore Ashram" venue guide, Google Maps directions and metro details help visitors find their way. Food, Culture & Craft and Tourism pages tell Bihar's story, and an interactive "Discover Your Bihar" district map adds something to explore. After the event, the home page switched to a "Festival Concluded" archive view with links to the programme and gallery.
